The cabin was full with 10 of us (Stu & Sarah, Josh & Kyrie, Hyrum & Emily, and Justin & Melissa) and our favorite australian sheep herder, Blue. The cabin has 2 small bedrooms, and a great loft up top. Eight of us slept (or tried to sleep) up there. Unfortunately... Josh and Hyrum were apparently trying to see who could snore the loudest and longest. Poor Justin, had to sleep in his car on Saturday night, thanks to their nasal symphony.
Once we arrived, and Josh calmed down (kidding!!), we had a blast. We cooked some great grub and gathered around the campfire. While eating our s'mores, there was a lot of talk about killer bears, spiders, ghosts, and even the witch who lived in an old wooden tee-pee behind the cabin... the perfect spooky start to a good old campin' trip!!
When we weren't scaring eachother, we were playing a million games... Loaded Questions, 4 hours of Apples to Apples, and a Risk marathon that lasted all 3 days!! We went biking, hiking, and driving around to experience the whole adventure. In our down time... I got caught up on my Twilight Series books (whew)!!
We left Sunday afternoon. It was sad to say goodbye, but we're planning on making it an annual trip!! It was perfect for relaxing and getting extra close to our good friends!! Can't wait until next year!! Stu & Sarah, thank you for the awesome weekend!!
